About the Artist

Growing up in Yorkshire, Arabia and Devon - and with family in Ireland and Japan my influences are global but my great loves are Scotland’s magnificent landscapes, and its wildlife. Having lived here for 21 years now, in gentle Dumfries and Galloway, the intriguing Inner Hebrides and vast, verdant Perth shire - with friends placed from the Gairloch to the Borders my personal experience of painting and photographing Scotland is varied as its weather… Making for an endless source of inspiration. I'm lucky to live in a wildlife sanctuary, where red squirrels rub shoulders with hares, Woodpeckers, Jay's and nesting Osprey all within sight of my front doorstep. Who could ask for more?
